TAnalyst has been updated to cope with Microsoft’s Edge web browser. We found that Edge caused problems with the trajectory view which uses Google Maps to show the path taken by the vehicle. That has now been resolved. We’ve also taken the opportunity to add in a few enhancements to the Google Maps display so that it now highlights not only the start of the data, but also the point at which the device was activated.
As before all the data on the Trajectory view is derived solely from the GPS signal. For a complete analysis to determine the speed and manoeuvres of the vehicle, the data from the on-board accelerometers and wheel pulse count should be used.
